Law Degree by the Lisbon Law School.
Master Degree in Civil Law at Lisbon Law School.
Lecturer at Lisbon Law School (1978/1999).
Lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University since 1981 teaching Succession Law, Family Law, Labour Law, Principles of Law, Civil Law and Contract Law.
Lecturer and coordinator of the seminar on New Urban Lease Regime at Portuguese Catholic University, Madeira District Board of the Portuguese Bar Association and at the National Institute of Housing (Instituto Nacional de Habitação) (2005/2006).
Scientific coordinator and lecturer in Post-Graduation in Law at the Portuguese Catholic University.

Lawyer admitted by the Portuguese Bar Association in 1981.
Member of the District Board of the Portuguese Bar Association (1989/1992).
Coordinator of the public center for legal advising at the National Institute of Housing (Instituto Nacional de Habitação) assisting the implementation of the New Urban Lease Regime (2006).
